Nairobi Senator Gideon Kioko Mbuvi, popularly known as Mike Sonko, doesn't take kindly to insults, especially if they are unwarranted.

The flashy politician, who won the Jubilee Party ticket for Nairobi Governor, took time off his busy schedule in May 2016 to respond to a Twitter user who had insulted him.

Here's the story. The lad who goes by the name Asamoh was commenting on a story about how Mount Kenya Univeristy (MKU) had made education affordable to Kenyans.

However, Asamoh chose to discouraged 'any serious brain from stepping into the institution adding that we should let characters like Mike Sonko to go there and buy knowledge.'

His remarks didn't sit well with Mike Sonko, a proud alumni of the university. He simply told him that his reasoning was the same as what he was holding on his profile photo.

I guess he didn't see that coming.
