Those who are supposed to be protecting people are the ones who are are causing havoc in peoples lives. On Facebook there is a post that got over 103 shares of a lawyer and her husband, who arrested allegedly because they parked in the wrong place. When they got down to the station the charges escalated to terrorism.

After this was posted many people also shared their terrible ordeal when it comes to police officers. Also, you can see lawyers flocking on the page standing up for their own.

Evelyn Wanjiku: How does that even amount to terrorism, there is nothing in your facts that reflects its similarity with the nature of terrorism.

JA Kisumo: GSU with parking?

Bridgitte Achieng: When will they be arraigned?I'd like to see and hear to believe.this is madness.

Nyatuga Rose: I READ MISCHIEF,

Alfred Wanga: Is there a matter she was involved in which would attract this?

Rosemary Madowo: I 'liked' your comment by mistake...i meant to let you know that if someone is arrested for an offence it is THAT offence that they should be charged with period...no charge 'attracts' another charge...you dig? Eg...if a cop arrests you for drunk driving they cant drop those charges mid- arrest, and charge you with resisting arrest...it'll beg the qstn...why are you in the first place resisting arrest?

Alfred Wanga: Rosemary Madowo it's alright, I get your point. However, it seems you didn't get my point. As you maybe aware that in the recent past advocates have become "enemies of the state", especially if you are handling matters that " particular state machineries" perceive to be against their imagined or real interests. Interpret my comment along this thought

Counsel Bonfesc Akusala: I’ve raised the issue with the Lsk Nairobi Branch and I believed it’ll be handled. But tomorrow is a holiday and if there’s any arraignment it’ll be Monday. There’s this an urgent need to see their immediate indictment or release on reasonable cash bail.

Khamati A. George: Is it illegal to record what police do, especially when arresting someone. I have been arrested once for such and booked for obstruction of justice. It took the intervention of Khalwale to get me out.

Evelyn Wanjiku: I think its high time different authorities create an awareness about certain job responsibilities to avoid miscarriage of justice, defining their functions in clarity and the public being aware..so they know why they are arrested, at times , personalities get arrested due to ignorance. We need to wake up as society , know and define our place, what we can look upto , what we can trash and delve into excellence from diverse stakeholders.

Patricia Mabil Mutinda: Kwanza I hear they are at NIS Nyati house really????

Charlie Ösundwa: Wycklife Oyoo, remember that day Flying Squad clowns threatened to shoot you guys for making a U-turn on the road.

Wycklife Oyoo: Shit. And they were so serious about it. I wanted to read to them Article 49 then I saw the barrel. I still maintain that the security sector is too crucial to be left to people who deliberately failed their examinations.

Titus Makhanu: I will be moving swiftly to look for Linda shortly, Nelson Havi, please join me. Isaac E. N. Okero are you aware of this Incident?

Timothy Omambia: It is absurd,,,,,, as a lawyer i condemn such actions and the DPP's office should see malice in the charge sheet going by what you say. It is actions like these that make alot of law enforcement, key in point FBI officers have a law degree

Alexander Eichener: Okay. First and foremost, it was strikingly wrong on that bloated self-important lawyer's level to pick such a quarrel. Obviously. Of course any police officer CAN enforce the traffic code. Regardless of uniform. Secondly, it is wrong to still, nay rather, to AGAIN display such a boisterous "fanya fujo uone" mentality. Brutal authoritarianism instead of real authority and professionalism. These guys with the red berets misbehaved as if they were US police. Thirdly, any trumping up of charges without proper base is illegal. But I do not recall such ruffled feathers and exasperated squeals of my unlearned non-friends when a hapless Malawian student was arrested and charged for not more than making an architectural DRAWING of the new railway terminus. After all, he was just a poor nigger from abroad, and not an eminent local monkey with a silly wig.
