Over the Christmas holiday, I went to Uganda. I was staying in the heart of Kampala city, surrounded by posh hotels and entertainment joints. Everyday, I would go out at 7pm then come back the following morning at 6 or 8am. It was lovely partying in Kampala; unlike Kenya where you go to a club and find less than 50 people sharing a bottle of cheap liquor, Ugandans can party and spend no matter how expensive the drinks are.

I had a chance to attend the top 5 clubs among them Guvnor, Liquid Silk at the Nakumatt Village in Bugolobi and Panomera. I was mesmerized by the high turn out. Ssebo's and Nyabo's always dress up depending on the event happening at a specific club. Rich Gang had a party at one of the clubs and as usual, I could have missed it for anything. This was the right time to get a closer glimpse at the famous Ivan Ssemwanga Zari Hassan's Ex-husband; the Rich Gang leader and the scandalous King Lawrence.

I sat next to the entrance so that I could see each and everyone who came in but too bad I had no time to take pics; I was on holiday. Hundreds thronged the club dressed in different attires with some trying to pull a Beyonce but oh my, they were left exposed. There came a lady who dressed scantily showing off her cellulite-stricken thighs. I sat silently and watched, wishing that I had travelled with my colleague Kwarula to take the pics but thank God, Red Pepper did it.
