Just a week after death robbed us one of Kenya's biggest media personalities, former Nairobi mayor Dick Wathika has passed on.

The former administrator and Makadara MP has passed on while being rushed to Karen Hospital this evening.

Although information regarding his demise is still scanty, our source states that he died of cancer complications.

I have known Dick for years dating back to his tenure as Makadara MP. He was also the M.C during my late Dad's funeral ceremony. My family takes this early opportunity to send our condolences.
