Beef Alert! Kenyan Musicians And Djs Go To War

The war between Kenyan musicians and Djs seems to have just started. This comes after one of the local Djs posted a pic chart ranking Kenyan musicians, that saw almost all the djs share it all over their various social media platforms.

Performers Rights Society of Kenya (PRISK) asked them to pay 15,000 annually to play Kenyan music but this seem to have annoyed the local Djs yet the law was enforced in 2001.

Kenyan musicians then took it to social media to respond to the Djs describing the anatomy of a Kenyan riddim mixtape whereby effects are played more than the songs. To some extent this is true, try boarding a city matatu and you will agree with Kenyan musicians.
