Finding a beautiful woman with brains nowadays is rare. It's like going fishing in a quarry.

But we have a few women out there who have beaten all the odds to become important people in the society and Esther Njoroge the CEO of leading tours and travel company Bountiful Safaris a great example.

The youngest CEO of the award-winning company Bountiful Safaris, has worked hard her way up the ladder to achieve her current status.

Just like any other successful person, Esther had dreams of running her own company one day and she started it back in 2009 though she was not financially stable.

"I STARTED THE IDEA OF BOUNTIFUL SAFARIS IN 2009 BUT I DIDN’T HAVE CAPITAL AND WAS STILL YOUNG. I APPROACHED A WEB DEVELOPER WHOM I USED TO PAY LITTLE BY LITTLE, TO HELP ME COME UP WITH THE WEBSITE. IT WAS DORMANT FROM 2009 BUT IN 2013, I DECIDED IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO SHINE ON MY OWN. I QUIT MY JOB AND IN NOVEMBER THE SAME YEAR, I GOT SERIOUS ABOUT MY COMPANY," she said in a recent interview.

Ms Njoroge, who is a true definition of beauty and brains, hasn't been exceptional in the tours field and she revealed that she also faced a lot of challenges but with God, she managed to sail through.

"IT HAS NOT BEEN A BED OF ROSES. I HAVE FACED MANY CHALLENGES CONSIDERING I AM A WOMAN AND YOUNG. YOU CAN APPROACH PEOPLE IN BUSINESS AND THEY FEEL THAT YOU CAN’T MAKE IT. BUT ALL IN ALL, I THANK GOD."

Young women have resorted to smoking shisha, partying, depending on 'sponsors' to pay their bills and in the near future, we hope many will borrow a leaf from the likes of Esther Njoroge, media personality Anita Nderu, businesswoman Annerlisa Mungai among others.
