Two months after losing his wife, Diamond's manager Babu Tale has revealed how she supported his political bid only for her to die before seeing it come to fruition.
Sharing an old photo of himself and his wife, Shammy, on his social media, Tale revealed that the first thought of him joining politics was born four years ago.
'It's four years since we took this photo and that is the day we started planning on how I would vie for a political seat in Morogoro.
My partner,today you are no longer there but wherever you are I know you see me your husband as a winner.
I passed without facing any opposition meaning from today hence forth I am a Member of Parliament in Tanzania.
I am just awaiting my swearing in ceremony.'
Babu Tale further added,
'My wife I will always remember you and treasure all that we had agreed on doing.
I will be an MP who is a people's servant.
I will never divert from what you and I stood for.
I love you my wife and wish you were here to celebrate with me as this dream was ours and not just mine.
May God rest your soul in peace.' Tale penned.
