Babu Owino is currently cooling his heels at the Industrial Area remand, awaiting bail hearing next week.

Two months ago, Jowie, the main suspect in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani was denied bail by Milimani law courts while his co-accused Jacque Maribe was granted KSh 1 million cash bail or a KSh 2 million bond with a surety of the same amount.

The decision ignited mixed reactions online and Babu Owino, claiming the judiciary system was unfair to Jowie while the likes of Governor Obado, were free.

1. When Governor Obado was alleged to have murdered he was given a cash bail/bond term.

2. When Sarah Wairimu was alleged to have murdered Cohen She was released on Cash bail/bond,' he stated.

The controversial defended Jowie, saying he deserved to freed just like the other murder suspects.

Jowie should be given cash bail/bond term by the judiciary and when found guilty be jailed.

Marxism’s law is that Equity is equality. He who comes to Equity must come with clean hands. Is it coz Jowie is poor that’s why he is being frustrated by the Rich judiciary?' he posed.
