At Long Last! Kenyan Premier League Set To Resume After Forced Break (PHOTO)

FKF chairman Sam Nyamweya has proposed to KPL to have a top tier league played in two zones to end the management wrangles. Nyamweya suggested that the top league be recognized as the FKF Premier League with the top two teams from either zone playing in a playoff in a round-robin mini league to determine the champion. This comes after an injunction by FKF was overruled yesterday.

Kenya Premier League action resumes this Thursday after a long break. Gor Mahia will host coastal based side Bandari FC at City Stadium while  Thika United will entertain Muhoroni at Thika Municipal Stadium.
