We woke up on Tuesday to the shocking news that Jalang'o had left HOT 96 where he had a show alongside his 'mentor' Jeff Koinange.

Friday was his last show but he did not really tell us why he left. All he did was send sweet messages to the people he worked with. From Jeff to Cynthia his producer to Willis Raburu.

A video doing rounds goes against all the sweet words he had for Jeff Koinange. In his note to Jeff, he called him his mentor and brother who they worked together for 1 year plus.

Jalas on social media pointed out a lot of the lessons he'd learnt from him and the moments he shared with Jeff but judging from the story I am going to tell you, this statement might just be for the gram. Jalang'o said:

NO SINGLE DAY DID YOU EVER LOOK DOWN ON ME EVEN WHEN YOU KNEW THAT OUR LIVES WERE FAR APART AND SO DIFFERENT BUT YOU HELD MY HANDS AND WE CREATED SOMETHING BEAUTIFUl

So in this video doing rounds, Jalang'o and Jeff were having a conversation on the ongoing daily drama in high schools involving the almost daily arson cases in school.

Jalang'o said that when he was in school there was no day they ever thought of burning their school because they feared exams.

Jeff then blurted out that Jalang'o is stupid.  

because you're stupid!

That statement caught Jalang'o off guard and he did not like it at all! He got so mad and called out Jeff especially after he sneered at him.

no, don't use that word on me again! This is the last time and don't click! Jeff!

From Jalang'os facial expression, he was livid.

We all know a Jaluo carries himself with pride and when you try to bring him down, that is a very serious 'crime'. They also don't like being disrespected and from the look of things, Jalang'o felt very disrespected.

This could actually be the case because Jeff has not written or spoken about Jalang'o leaving. We would expect him to wish Jalang'o well in his next step but nothing doing! All he does is post his upcoming show which is something he never used to do. Could there be beef after the exchange of those words?

We spoke to Jeff Koinange about the video and he said,

I've not even watched the video first, so I don't even remember, let me watch the video then I will let you know.
