Fans are mourning the death of Churchill comedian Ben Maurice Onyango popularly also known as Othuol Othuol.

Othuol who was 31 years old passed on while receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital on Sunday, 11, 2020 at 3pm.

This is the second time he has been hospitalised in the same facility suffering from brain tumor complications.

The chairman of Comedians society of Kenya, Ken Waudo revealed in a press statement that Othuol will be buried on October 24, 2020, in his ancestral home at Alego, Siaya.

The burial cost will range between Ksh 700,000 to Ksh 1m.

"As #ComediansKE Society we would like to wish Comedian Othuol Othuol soul to rest in eternal peace. We celebrate him and his moments with us during his lifetime."

Othuol's BFF, one of the people who stuck closer to him than his brothers shed light into how his life was like.

Tumbili visited Othuol in hospital days before his death and took photos together not knowing it would be the last time.

After his death, Tumbili paid tribute saying, "Bro I have seen your body and am very Glad you have rested a happy man despite the frustrations you used to tell me, the smile is legit but najua unatuchocha tu... 😭😭😭😭 #OthuolOthuol #ToGodBeTheGlory."

He took to twitter and said Othuol was battling depression following his sickness.

In an instastory, he made fun of the friends who are now showing up.

A fan told Tumbili, "Lets now wait and see them fundraising a total of Ksh 2m yest Ksh 15,000 was so difficult for them to raise."

Timbili laughed it off adding,

"Already there is a person who has offered to pay Ksh 40,000 for the coffin."

He added, "The way they never believed when you needed help is the same way they won't believe you are gone.”

Sandra Dacha who plays Silphrosa on Auntie Boss mourned Othuol her fellow co-star saying,

"This was yesterday. I tried calling your name a number of times but you kept giving me cold eyes...Your hands were telling me to go away...you did all that ndio utuwache Othuol?😭. Othuol iweyo wa nade?Idwanyori!!!"

After viewing his body at Kenyatta National Hospital, Sandra took to social media and wrote,

"Seeing you inside the morgue has totally crushed me Othuol Othuol. My heart is heavy Osiepna."
