KPLC: Areas that will face power interruptions on Thursday

• Counties affected by the power cuts include Nairobi, Samburu, Nyeri, Murang'a, and Kilifi.

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has issued a warning about power outages in several areas of the country on Thursday, May 2.

In a statement on Wednesday evening, the company announced that some areas in five counties of Kenya will experience power interruptions between two-thirty in the morning and eleven in the evening.

Counties affected by the power cuts include Nairobi, Samburu, Nyeri, Murang'a, and Kilifi.

In Nairobi County, several parts of the Peponi area will be affected by power outages between three in the morning and eleven in the evening.

The entire town of Maralal and the Posta area in Samburu County will be without power between three in the morning and eleven in the evening.

In Murang'a and Nyeri counties, some parts of Kiriani and Kamune areas will experience power interruptions between two in the morning and eleven in the evening.

Kilifi Farm in Kilifi County will also be affected by power outages between three in the morning and eleven in the evening.
