Kenya Power has scheduled power interruption in two counties – Uasin Gishu and Nyeri on April 27, 2024.

The company said the interruption will be effected between 10.00 am and 5 pm in Uasin Gishu county.

Upgrade power metres by November 24

Just the other day, the Kenya Power and Lighting Company warned customers that their metres will not be able to accept electricity tokens if they do not upgrade them by November 24.

The company rolled out a nationwide campaign to inform its customers about the Token Identifier (TID) project so that no one will be locked out once the deadline hits.

Speaking in Mombasa during a media sensitization meeting, KPLC Coast regional manager engineer Phineas Marete said the company is currently carrying out an upgrade of meters.
