Zari Hassan is officially engaged.

This news was revealed by Kenyan star Akothee who posted the engagement ring on her Instagram congratulating Zari.

Zari's engagement ring is a one of a kind 3.18 carat unheated and untreated Ceylon cushion-cut yellow sapphire in a gorgeous diamond halo setting.

According to My Jewelry Source site, the ring is "delicate in its feel and elegant in its appearance. The sapphire is truly rare and amazing. It has a delightful lemony butter yellow colour of medium saturation. It is just the perfect yellow. Not pale or washed out and not neon either."

The ring goes for USD 13000 for the ring which also comes with a band that costs USD 1350. The total is USD 14350 (Ksh 1,435,000m)

The site also describes the ring as "well cut and lively and the delicate diamond halo consists of 22 diamonds and frames the sapphire perfectly. There are another 9 diamonds on each side in the band. The entire top of the ring is covered with beautiful glistening diamonds."
