This time round however, he has decided to come through with a plan that is not only meant to celebrate local talent but to spot it and nurture some new talent too.

Vybe City Awards a production under CandynCandy Records is an exclusive one of its kind event. Not much recognition is given to our artists who are trying to make it big, hotels that give the best services; in general there are people who always go an extra mile to be the best in what they do, in whatever industry it is and they keep it going without any recognition.

Vybe City Awards is set to take place in 6 major towns; Eldoret, Kisumu, Nakuru, Meru, Mombsa and Nairobi. In each town there will be nominations that fall into different categories. In each nomination category there are to be 5 nominees that will be selected by Candyncandy but the people get to rule the verdict.

The categories include:

• Best female and male artist
• Best club
• Mr & Mrs Town
• Best Hotel
• Dopest Nganya
• Coolest University
• Dance Group
• Best female and male Deejay
• Best hangouts
• Best C.S.R

The main agenda by doing these awards is that it will motivate different companies and individuals to push harder and better their lives and those of the township. We look forward to a successful completion of the first circuit of the awards after which will be carried out annually.
