Mariam Kighenda's best friend politician Sheila Karembo has penned a touching goodbye message to her and daughter Amanda Mutheu.

Mariam and four-year-old Amanda died after their car sunk in the Indian Ocean last month and their bodies retrieved 13 days later.
The two were buried in Salama, Makueni county in a burial ceremony that was attended by hundreds of mourners among them Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

In a touching post, she shared on social media, Sheila wrote,
It is well, you are the angels watching us. You are in a better place. I will miss you.
Sheila was very close to Mariam with her family.
On Saturday while eulogizing his wife, Wambua described her as a God-fearing, caring and loving.
ONE THING THAT ATTRACTED ME DURING OUR COURTSHIP PERIOD TWELVE YEARS AGO WAS HER KINDNESS AND CHRISTIAN VALUES. WHEN SHE AGREED TO MARRY ME TWELVE YEARS AGO, I FELT I WAS THE LUCKIEST MAN IN THE WHOLE WORLD,’ WAMBUA SAID.

WE HAD A NEAT FAMILY FULL OF LOVE, LAUGHTER AND PROWESS OF A BRIGHT FUTURE.
