Tanzanian singer Nandy is yet to come to terms with the death of her best friend, media executive Ruge Mutahaba.
Ruge, who was buried last week, succumbed to kidney failure while undergoing treatment in South Africa.
Nandy, who has been through a tough time ever since Ruge passed on has penned a tear-jerking letter to him.
She has described him as a great man who changed her life and one who believed in her. She says they were very close and he meant everything to her.
Ulivo pumzika naweza kukuhakikishia…
This loosely translates to: “Everyone has someone who was created by God just for them. There are many ways people can meet and the journey can be long with trials that are tiresome, but in the end, everything works out for the best.”
“There are a few people who will understand your dreams and be there to encourage you and put their all into supporting you. There were times I felt like giving up but Ruge was there for me. You have been there for me and even though you are no more, I will make you proud.”
YOUR THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENed TO ME
ROHO YANGU.. R.I.P.
This loosely translates to: “I will continue to follow your advice and aim to achieve the goals we set. I love you so much and I’ll continue to do so, even though you are no longer here.”
