News of Sport Pesa laying off 400 employees have left many Kenyans jobless with hundreds coming out to share their unemployment experiences.

Truth be told no one ever pictures themselves being jobless but sometimes circumstances push them to the wall.

Below are some of the reactions and experiences.

@karuga__: If sadness/depression was a photo. Sportpesa employees this morning being told there job is over. Our govt took all this guys for a ride, illegal tax killing the youth.

@CescKemei: I rem that sadly, I went for an interview for ASDSPII enumerator survey, to my surprise, those shortlisted were only 6 but in reality we were 7.

We were interviewed 6 of us but 7th was not interviewed since he was an INTERN,and that's how I lost my job #SaveMyJob

@shiroh_D: Two years ago the company I worked for was indefinitely closed down. Young & devastated I had to find a way. 2yrs down the line, I guess Entrepreneurship is even more painful. You've to figure it all on yourself. When does it get better😪.

@bosiboriviews: I'm reading this trend and I'm in tears cause late last year #ILostMyJob and when I asked management about it  I was given some bullshit explanation.

Now up to date I haven't had the courage to tell my folks about it! #SaveMyJob

@RoadAlertsKE: Yes it's real, it's happening in Kenya 🇰🇪 and something should be done.

I lost my Job, people who I thought were friends, never call me nowadays actually they openly show, you are no longer relevant.

Guys, don't give up. Keep going. I got another job.

@pauliddiali: So I went for an interview today and I didn't get the job, I was so mad and deflated at the end I just wanted to go home and crawl into bed!☹️

I swear being an honest person sux sometimes, there's so much I want to do with my life but there ain't no jobs out there.
