Diamond Platnumz has spoken out for the first time about his WCB artiste.

From what he told a popular Tanzanian radio station, it seems all his artistes are from a humble background. Diamond revealed that he would never sign into his label a rich kid.

He said;

"Sifa ya kwanza WCB ni mtu aliyetoka katika hali ngumu, maisha magumu kwa sababu sisi tunajitahidi kujiajiri mwenyewe kwa wenyewe. Japo kuwa muziki wetu haujawa na riziki lakini angalau kidogo hichi  tule wote..."

He went on to explain in detail why he did not want to sign kids from wealthy family;

"Tunaamini watu kutoka mtaani wanakuwa na talent ya kweli, wanakuwa na njaa ya kujituma na nidhamu kwa sababu wanaogopa wasije wakarudi tena katika mtaa. Lakini mtoto wa kitajiri mimi sikudanganyi wanakuwa hawana nidhamu kwa sababu wanajua sisi tuna hela, kwa hiyo yeye haogopi au kufanya kazi kwa bidii"

From his statements, it is evident that he does not see eye-to-eye with spoilt kids. The Utanipenda hitmaker has signed five artistes including Harmonize, Rich Mavoko, Rayvanny, Lava Lava and Queen Darleen as the only lady.

Sometime back, Diamond revealed to Mpasho that he was ready to sign a Kenyan artiste into his label.
