Akothee aka Madam boss

Singer Akothee has been trending on social media for all the wrong reasons.

The Sweet Love hitmaker, also known as Madam Boss to her millions of followers, over the weekend shut down Paparemo Beach in Malindi.

Akothee, gave an electrifying performance leaving fans yearning for more. Coast-based singer Nyota Ndogo also showed up to support her fellow artiste. Akothee’s parents were also there to support her.

But hell broke loose when photos of Akothee doing what she loves best on stage surfaced. Clad in a white costume, nude tights, and high heel white boots, just like Rihanna, the singer pulled several stunts on stage leaving many awed. She understands what her audience want.

The pictures ignited mixed reactions with more seeming to support Akothee compared to those who called her out. Some even defended her saying she was not different from  Cardi B, Rihanna among other superstars who dress skimpily. Some of the comments include:

Neshkin: Stop bashing Akothee, sexualism and nudity run the field she is in… From Jamaicans to US or you all want to pretend dancehall or Pop isn’t part of your favourite music?????

Maryanne Muthoni: Men are so intimidated by successful women like Akothee who do whatever they want, it’s just so sad looking at all their tweets. All i see is broke boys with bruised egos since they can’t tell women how to behave

Elijah Simiyu: You cannot pull up a stripper’s stunt in public just like the way Akothee did. I oppose. That is bad precedence for the younger generation esp girls. It corrupts their minds too

Joseph Simiyu: The people who were advocating and even demonstrating for #MyDressMyChoice are the same people bashing Akothee now. Why the double standards?

Gufydox: Y’all go ‘yaaaaaas B*tch’ on Cardi B and the likes of Beyonce for the same same thing Akothee is doing.

Kiambi Newton: I’m wondering when Akothee vied to be your daughter’s role model and you elected her.

Suleman Wanjiku: You wank to pornhub, you defended Hope Kid, but Akothee is a whore? Grow up!

Kinsey Jim Allan: Akothee uko sawa. Watu washamba should stop following you. Anyway me and 1000 others waiting on your reply to Alai

Jason: Men pretending not loving what their seeing just hypocrisy. I mean who doesn’t love seeing a Camel🐫🐪if you know you know 😏Ata kama inkaa Njahee🐙

Ager Mikel: Ok on moral decency #Akothee has let the society down and she is exposing the young generation to wrong modeling but again let’s not forget the many young boys n girls who go to school under her support across the country. This is a two faced penny, two sided story.

Fidel: Ata mseme aje Akothee is Otile’s crush and Akothee he is better than Willy Paul.

Ordained_gal: Don’t mind them…let them hold on their culture and traditional mind..and yes your Kenyan Madonna 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Akothee later responded to critics by sharing a video having a chat with a group of white people and captioned it:

They saw Madonna from Kenya yesterday night, but Kenyans online only saw a big prostitute and a stripper,😂😂😂 this idiots making noise online cant even afford a beer in an ordinary bar, shut your broke arse bitch AKOTHEE IS INTERNATIONAL BAE.

Putting the last nail on the coffin, Akothee told critics:
