Gospel singer Willy Paul and his fellow musician Bahati have been having beef for the longest time and they have started another year with drama.

A few days ago, Willy Paul took to his social media to rant and accused Bahati of fighting him for his personal gains even after he mentioned him in his recent song about love, Tupande back in Dec 2014.

This came as a surprise to many as we all though they had reconciled during the Groove 2015 awards, before the public and church leaders. But it looks like any hope for these two ever becoming friends is shattered.

A lot of gospel artists came out to criticize the two for acting like spoilt brats by always taking their issues to social media instead of handling them like adults.

Some of the artists who condemned their public woes include Ringtone and L J Maasai, terming it as immature and unacceptable for the gospel industry.

Now, another gospel artist by the name of Mr Seed, has accused the two artists of shaming other gospel artists and taking the industry down.

He started off by reminiscing on how he, Willy Paul and Bahati used to be good friends, close like brothers and have even shared a meal. But now since the money came in things have changed;

TO BAHATI ( @bahatikenya ) AND WILLY PAUL ( @willypaulmsafi ) PATRT 1... hello family!!i know that they say you are just as bad if you keep your mouth shut when bad and wrong things are happening on your watch and they also say if you are not a part of the solution you are part of the problem,so there is this thing between my two brothers of which i av both known for so many years!!willy n phaty!!or as you all know them willy paul and bahati,you guys have been my real brothers since way back when we were nobodies!!

A saddened Mr Seed continued by reminding them how they were before the fame;

willy i remember when you used to come at our house in huruma when you had rabuka and there were still only a few who knew you at that time i had papa god oh and i believe or think i was some one you once looked upto izo days coz we used to talk alot about music and though i knew little you could ask me 1 or 2 things you should do,bahati you i av known the longest i believe its now 15years, we have literally shared a bed and a plate,in music i have taught you a few about it too and am not bragging about anything my point is never for once when this fame and money and a better life was still a dream to us did we ever plan or talk about fighting each other about anything,all there was was a brotherhood to support each other and we did that so am asking what changed??what happened??

Mr Seed gave Bahati a platform before he was famous, with a song they did together, dubbed 'Wangu. But sadly, they are no longer as close as they were before;

The reason i have brought it here is because you are all over your high horses,nowadays you guys can go even without picking my calls or replying my texts and i wont judge i believe you guys are busy so its cool i understand!but what we are doing is wrong in the eyes of man and God its wrong even for us!!believe it or not its affecting gospel artists and all Christianity as a whole!!people are like 'so those are the so called born again Christians??

He continued:

"fighting and always quarrelling in public??i don't even want my son to be like them,i even have morals more than them how are they to minister to me??'we are killing the gospel and the gospel industry brothers,i keep getting so many calls from every type of people from your fans,our friends and even strangers to talk to my boys!!i don't really know what the real problem is between you guys but am sure there are better ways to solve them!!maybe you guys will listen to your mate since it seems like you wont even listen to the elders coz its only the other day you guys reconciled in front of a congregation and a man of God and the whole world saw it so tell us guys,were you fooling us??"

The 'Papa God Oh' singer went on to reveal that their public stunts are killing the gospel industry since that is the platform they use for their songs to be more popular.

"Its not right,remember kuna wale wanakuja nyuma yetu tusiache tumewaharibia kitu tulipata watu kama akina daddy owen,sk blue,jogg c,gospel fathers,j blessing,dj moz,kanji and other pioneers wali sacrifice a lot to make it what it is now,lets not be that selfish!its not always about you two,maybe to you guys its all about p.r and publicity stunts and its affecting us other artists coz we are releasing songs,good songs but no we wont be given the same platforms as you guys simply because most of us lack the gutts and hearts to pull off such outrageous stunt for publicity,so all the good platforms to release our music and spread the word aint intrested in good music and content anymore all they want to push and talk about are these publicity stunts at the expense of other good and talented artists and its so sad!!let our music and content represent us and stand for us not all these things because they are #vanity"
