Singer Akothee has opened up about the stringent conditions an ex bae gave her when she was dating for years ago.

Taking it to her Instagram page, the single mother of five said that the man called her stupid after she decided to venture into music.

After she did her first song, the man discouraged her from further advancing her career.

According to Akothee, the man told her that she could not make any money from music.

As if that was not enough, the man also asked her to keep away from social media and even delete her YouTube channel and all her other social media platforms.

By doing that, he promised to take care of Akothee and that is what discouraged her from dating the man.
