Church business seems to be the new money-maker across the world. These days, anyone can become a prophet, pastor or reverend, provided you dress in 'expensive' suits and are blessed with a commanding voice. People will flock your church without even being persuaded and all you need is to have the 'gift' of healing and performing miracles (it doesn't have to be true).

Cases of fake prophets and pastors have been rampant in recent past. Controversial South Africa pastor Penuel Mnguni of End Times Disciples Ministries, is the latest one to hit the headlines. Pastor Mnguni who has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons, recently ordered his congregation to eat a carpet that he was standing on!

Really?? Jesus, come down and save us!

Via the church's official facebook account, photos of the congregation eating the carpet as ordered by Pastor Mnguni, were posted together with the message below;

As the man of God Prophet Penuel continued demonstrating the power of God. He commanded the carpet he was standing on to be food, whatever God declares clean is clean and what was supposed to kill will give life because of the word spoken upon it.

He started by eating it himself and then fed the congregation, those who were sick were healed and some received their break through as God can use anything.
