A lot has been said about Willy Paul's connection to Bongo superstar Diamond Platnumz. The controversial gospel star has always talked about working with the Tanzanian singer who recently stated in an interview that they might just get into the studio soon.

The Kitanzi singer has often been accused of imitating Diamond Platnumz’s in his music. However, many people might not know the reason behind it. On an Instagram post, Willy Paul opened up about how he struggled to produce his music and when he converted Diamond's song into gospel.

Four years back a day like today I converted song Mbagala into a Gospel song.... due to luck of money, today am so grateful that I can record my own songs..
