The family members of the slain family of four in Kiambu are still in shock.

Dan Njeru, the brother of Nicholas Warunge's wife, Anne Wanjiku Njoroge, said the family hopes the Kiambu murders killer is convicted "as quickly as he committed the crimes and consigned to his rightful place in jail".

Another family member identified as Renee Lisa took to social media to express her shock at the news of her kin's cold-blooded slaughter.

She tweeted, "Yall need to appreciate your family while you still can!!!! Didn't think it would be the last time to see them but it was. Rest with the angels."

Renee then requested tweeps to share a poster of the Warunge family asking for financial assistance to bury them.

"It would mean the world to me if you guys could please retweet this as much as you can. May each of their souls rest in peace. Thank you for your support!"

One tweep, @wangari_ke wrote.

"I'm beyond overwhelmed! Keep sharing as much as possible we appreciate it so so much! Let's give them a send-off that is befitting to them, and let's also support the 2 remaining girls with as much energy."

The four family members will be buried on Saturday 16, 2021, at their home where they were killed in Karura village in Kiambaa.
