It has not shut down.

X-FM Kenya will still provide programming focused on entertainment and music.

The station will now be broadcasting on Kenya's biggest streaming app, Songa, stating Saturday, March 16, 2019.

This is a gutsy move as XFM is the first mainstream radio station to go 100% digital.
