On one side of the boxing ring, we have Bon-eye of P-Unit and on the other side, we have DJ Pinye who is one of the oldest DJs in the country, popularly known for his show The Beat which airs every week day on NTV. What's the fight about? Read on.

You have probably seen or heard the campaign by Kenyan artists seeking 70% play of Kenyan music by media houses. In fact, early August, Kenyan artistes took to the street in a peaceful demonstration for this cause. DJ Pinye decided to start a movement of his own which he called, "Pinyes Challenge". In his poster, he said that Kenyan talent was indisputable but untapped and that we (it is unclear who we is) must change that. Bon-eye was angered by this post and smeared his poster by telling him to first play 70% Kenyan music. On the picture on Instagram, Bon-eye said:

"Huyu ameanza kutubeba ujinga. Tunakujua weeewe!!..."

Other artists have come in on the photo and if you look at the photo below you can see Avril laughing. At least, for once artists are fighting over something worthwhile. Who will win this fight? We have to wait and see. But as for now, Bon-eye has landed a rather heavy punch.
