Akothee recently caused a stir after revealing that she's thinking about getting saved and completely changing her lifestyle.

Through a post on her Instagram page, the "Yuko Moyoni" hit maker said she might decide to get saved and leave behind her ungodly ways.

Akothee went on to say that she might join any church but not the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) reason being they don’t like people who fool around.

Her post elicited mixed reactions from various quarters. While some discouraged her saying the move must be financially motivated, others encouraged her to jump ship.

Gospel singer Linet Munyali, better known as Size 8, falls in the second category as she told her to come to Jesus.

The award-winning singer said that getting saved could work in Akothee's favour giving an  example of herself and how she's now earning more after seeing the light.

Size 8 also told Akothee not to worry about things like her dressing style saying 'God will fix that once she declares salvation.'
