The wreckage of the missing plane has been spotted this morning South West of the Aberdares.

On Tuesday at 1720HRS Jomo Kenyatta International airport control tower reported that it has lost contact with a caravan aircraft with a capacity of 12 passengers operated by East African Safari Air Express registration number 5Y CAC.

It departed from Kitale destined for Nairobi at 1605HRS carrying 8 passengers and 2 crew but did not make it to their final destination.

According to an eyewitness, Samuel Mwangi, the sight of the aircraft coming down was like ‘lightning’.

"I SAW THE PLANE COME DOWN LIKE LIGHTNING," A WITNESSED TOLD THE COPS ABOUT THE MISSING FLY SAX PLANE.

The government will be issuing a statement in the next one hour.
