Firstborns always take the lead.

Usually eing the oldest translates into certain family responsibilities that require leadership skills from an early age.

Parents tend to invest much more time and resources in their firstborn.

Because this will give you independence and reduce your over-reliance on your parents.

2. Check your siblings homework

As a firstborn, you definitely are at a higher education level compared to your siblings.

Therefore, it is your responsibility to help your younger siblings with their homework even when your parents are around.

3. Act as trendsetters

Parents invest a lot of time establishing rules for their first child, building a reputation for toughness that they hope will trickle down to later children.

To add on, firstborns are entrusted to act as the rules enforcer of the family, which builds intelligence, discipline, and leadership qualities.
