A viral set of photos and footage have emerged online, showing several tourists stranded in Serengeti National Park with lions trying to turn them into a meal. The photos show the lions gnawing at the Land Rover's tyres and attempting to break the windows. Daily Mail reported that the attack was an hour-long experience that terrified the tourists.
Emmanuel Bayo from Arusha, Tanzania is the tour guide who witnessed the tourists encounter with the animals, much to his shock.
'They destroyed the wheels and tried to smash the windows - even though we have enforced glass which stops this. It would have been a disaster if we hadn't," one of the 'victims' said.
