Over the weekend, Zari and her family held dua (prayers) for their mother Halima Hassan, who died last year. The prayers took place both at her Munyonyo home in Uganda and at Zari's residence n Pretoria, South Africa.

The mother of five was so much attached to her mom and she has always been sharing emotional messages about her. While celebrating her first death anniversary, Zari revealed that she misses her mother so much and no one can fill her gap. Her message read:

To my dear lovely departed mom, words can't explain the gap you left behind that can never be filled. Its exactly one year since you departed but our hearts are still filled with you. You will forever be mummy, the loving, caring and respected mummy. May Allah grant you Jana. We miss you so much but Allah wanted you for himself. Rest him peace mama💔
