Tanzanian boy band Ya Moto band started showing signs of breaking up last years after they went silent for almost 7 months.

The Cheza Kwa Madoido bongo kids have been one of the well-celebrated bands in East Africa but it seems their bond is no more.

Speaking to East Africa Radio, one of the band members, Beka Flavour has spilled the beans on who is responsible for the split.

It turns out that Aslay the 'Naenda Kusema Kwa Mama' kid is behind all this. Dogo Aslay together with 3 other members Maromboso, Enock Bella and Beka were part of the group after Aslay did a single without notifying the management which caused their split.

Beka confessed;

"Kwenye Ya Moto kuna mwenzetu mmoja alitoa ngoma mweyewe bila kuwasiliana na uongozi na bila mawasiliano na wasanii wenzie Aslay....Haikuleta mgogoro mkubwa."

He continued to reveal;

"Tukakubaliana sasa kwa kua huyu kafanya basi tunaomba tuongee na uongozi wetu na wengine tufanye lakini kwa ruhusa kutoka kwa Uongozi. Tusifanye kama alivyofanya."

Since then, each member has been releasing singles with Aslay hitting with the songs Angekuona and Usiitie Doa.
