Blogger Robert Alai has been arrested in Nairobi for posting ‘sensitive’ photos on social media.
Yesterday, Alai shared horrifying photos of Wajir attack police victims.
This comes barely a few hours police warned him over publishing photos of terror victims on social media.
Kenyans have reacted to his arrest and reactions include;
Boniface Mwangi So Kenya Police have arrested Robert Alai for exposing how Kenya government handles the bodies of fallen officers. Who advises our government? The constitution protects Alai and the courts, @ODPP_KE will set him free. Shame on you @NPSOfficial_KE
Pronoh Nahash And yet the same officers are arresting him…
Nick Mbithi The same cops arresting him,when they die.the treatment will be the same.Police ni wakubwa tuu..the rest are just our fellow raiya.#Kubebwawaana
Kenya West The issue here is not about @RobertAlai posting those photos, for me it’s about the risks we’re putting our officers in terror prone zones We spent millions on armored cars which turns out to be substandard given how they’re always blown up. This is the real issue wacheni games.
