The family of businesswoman Monica Kimani is hoping that justice will be served. The 28-year-old lady was killed and body dumped in her bathtub at her apartment in Kilimani in September, this year.

TV girl was granted bail while Jowie was denied bail.
Monica’s father, who is yet to come to terms with her death, recently sent harsh message to her killers, saying they must be punished. Mr Kimani first shared the post on September 21 and reshared it a few days after Jowie was denied bail.
There is no peace for the wicked, those murderers who killed my yesterday must be punished, FB Friends stand with us now we need your prayers, during this difficult time, Monica RIP.
Judge James Wakiaga declined to release Jowie on bail saying he might abscond or interfere with witnesses given the reasons placed before court by the prosecution.
He described Jowie as the male version of a slay queen and described him as a ‘woman eater’ with no fixed aboard and no known job.
Jowie had indicated that his siblings will get him an alternative accommodation, but presented no tangible evidence to show that is the case, the judge said. The judge said;
THE ACCUSED HAS NO KNOWN ASSET IN THE COUNTRY SAVE FOR AN INTENTION TO SET UP A SECURITY FIRM. I FIND HIM WITH NO FIXED ABOARD, LACKING ANY FAMILY TIES IN THE COUNTRY AND LIKELY TO ABSCOND SHOULD THE NEED ARISE. THE MERE FACT THAT HE IS WILLING TO SURRENDER HIS PASSPORT IS NO GUARANTEE THAT HE CANNOT LEAVE THE COUNTRY IF HE WISHES.
