Elizabeth Prudence Apeni, one of the who died during the Kakamega Primary was laid to rest on Sunday amid tears.

The young girl, a daughter to an Administration Police officer Mrs Irene Ambundo at Kakamega AP headquarters died as a result of suffocation with 13 others after a stampede.

The heartbroken mother had two children, a son and s daughter in the school. The police officer shared a photo of her daughter's body lying lifeless in a coffin accompanied by the tear-jerking message below,

My Beautiful girl Rest In Peace. I wish I did something when you told me you were not comfortable in that Block.

The mother of two also shared the last photo she took with her two children before death robbed her of her loved one.

The last photo we took with my baby girl,' she captioned the photo below.
