Acid attack survivor, Chizoba Francess is a bold woman. She's never afraid of speaking her mind out. The Nigerian woman, who is currently undergoing one-year National Youth Service (NYS) programme in Delta state, has won the hearts of many, thanks to her courage and inspirational story.

The acid attack survivor recently took to social media to narrate the challenges she faced after her aunt (her uncle's wife) bathed her with acid and she wrote;

"Some years back I became a victim of acid attack. I wasn't too bothered because I was still young. I stayed in the hospital for like a year and six months. I came out and I had to face the world with the help of my parents When I started school, people used to be scared whenever they saw me.

It was quite challenging, I would ask myself will I make it with this condition? My sweet mum used to encourage me 'sweetheart you will make it',  I would smile and be happy at least I was sure I would make it but my fear was would I be better? She would tell me I will. I joined a Secondary school and I met with alot of people,  some liked to relate with me and others didn't. But it did not stop me from moving on. Some would ask 'does she have a boyfriend? Do you know why? cos they felt no one would love her with a scar on her face.' I would laugh still and I moved on. People were asking many questions about me cos I amaze people. Today she is a graduate and a Corper is the God's grace at work in my life, was the funniest of all and my enemies did not know I will move on this big and I will surprise them making it bigger and letting the whole world know that having a scar on your face doesn't stop you from shining.
