Nairobi is a tough city. It's either you have money or not. Everything you do requires money; from paying rent, buying food and even just taking a shower or using a latrine, you cannot survive in the city under the sun. We have several graduates with degrees, masters, and even PhDs, but they still tarmac every day looking for jobs.

Does it mean that there are no job vacancies in the country or our institutions don't do a lot when it comes to teaching and many end up producing half-baked graduates?

Well, in the recent past, we have seen many Kenyans take to the streets to beg for jobs, and it seems this fad is not going to end any time soon. Many are going to do the same so as to try their luck. We have several unemployed youths around who later turn to crime, abuse drugs and do other bad things, which in turn get them killed.

What happened to Jubilee's Kazi kwa vijana promise?

A young Kenyan woman has left many surprised after she was spotted along one of the busy city roads, carrying a poster begging for a job.

"Kindly give me a job."

Read the writings on the poster she was carrying. The lady has a degree in economics and finance and has also studied CPA up to section 5. Who is going to give her a job?
