Nigerian pop star Wizkid’s bouncer is having it rough after being stabbed in a club. His bouncer was going to pay a debt that WizKid owed club DNA in Lagos, Nigeria.

This was when he was assaulted by the club’s chairman and a bouncer who are in court. The two are facing a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy, unlawful assault, and grievous bodily harm, preferred against them by the Police.

Wizkid owed the nightclub the sum of N8million which approximates to ksh2,263,905 and also a pool party bill of N7million (ksh1,980,917) which his security guard had gone to settle before he was attacked.

He left with wounds on his eye which was caused by a broken glass used by the clubs bouncer and fist blows and he was stabbed on the left side of his face with the broken glass.

When the two appeared in court, the duo pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against them despite the fact that their lawyer, D. Mustapher, urged the court to admit the defendants to bail on a liberal term.

Their lawyer said steps are already being taken to settle the matter, adding that one of the steps being taken is the footing of the complainant’s medical bills.

WizKid has not spoken about the incidence yet but we do hope justice will prevail eventually and his bouncer will get well soon.
