Msupa S got her breakthrough last year after her rendition of American rappers Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s hit All The Way Up went viral.
The cover catapulted her into the hearts and minds of many Kenyans. Soon, artists like Khaligraph Jones had taken notice and he quickly did a successful collabo with her. The song prophetically named “Watajua Hawajui” which was an apt name given the leaps she has taken since then.
Last month, the rapper visited radio presenter Willy M Tuva on his show. The two looked like they had a ball, judging from the pictures and videos she posted on her Instagram page.
But something eerie has happened this week. A controversial post concerning Willy M Tuva appeared on her Instagram page. In the post, Msupa S is seen castigating the radio host for hitting on her. The post which has since been deleted reads:
@mzaziwillymtuva please tosheka na wako min i’m taken. wacha kunisumbuwa
In the comments section, she adds another interesting tidbit:
The contentious screenshot is below:
We called the daring and enterprising entertainer for a comment about what had happened. The exasperated artiste disclosed:
Unajua si mimi nimeandika hizo vitu I.G. It is just a guy who is very jealous of me and we didn’t even meet with Willy M Tuva. It has nothing to do with me.
It is not me and I am trying to delete it…the person who has my password(hacked it)
We also spoke to Size 8 about the whole saga and she responded saying she did not know anything about the affair. The singer who is recovering after miscarrying divulged:
I don’t even know what is going on. I am on my medication. Mimi hata sijui…Hata usiniweke hapo.
When we called Willy M Tuva about the issue he categorically denied the claim that he had ever hit on Msupa S. The father of two explained:
First of all it is untrue. Na yeye mwenyewe ameeleza haja post hizo vitu.(After we gave him the backsory) But i will say, si vizuri watu kutumia majina ya watu kuharibia majina, ndio wapate umaarufu. wafanye muziki mzuri…
He also clarified:
Kitu ambacho unafaa kujua ni kwamba mimi na wasanii we don’t mix. She has come to my interview once and nimemwona(Msupas) mara mbili ama tatu. I am a professional.
He also explained that he had gone to the police over the malicious claims. There you have it, people. One hacked account with fallacious reports that causes such ripples.
This is indeed the era of fake news but at least we here at Mpasho.co.ke will always dig deeper to get the unvarnished truth for you.
