This is where the wife parks a few things and goes back to her parent's home.

This mostly happens among newlyweds who have not yet learned how to cope with each other.

Below are the reasons why ‘walking out’ is beneficial to a marriage.

1. It allows the couple to re-evaluate their relationship

It helps one ask important questions such as ‘why’ they are in that marriage. Once that question is solved one is able to decide whether to move forward with the union or not.

2. It helps one appreciate what their partners do

It’s said that we only appreciate the value of something once it’s gone. Walking out helps the other partner appreciates the little things you were doing at home.

It may be laundry or just keeping the house in order. Once your partner is gone is when you realize that alikua anafanya kazi ya maana.

3. It helps you prioritize

People walk out of marriage for different reasons; some are petty while some are justified.

Walking out does not always mean the end of a relationship, sometimes it means giving each other time to prioritize between the relationship and other things, nini muhimu.

4. It helps re-kindle the spark

Walking out sometimes helps rekindle a dying relationship. It makes partners miss each other which is beneficial for a marriage.

After all who would want to be in a relationship where they are not missed?

5- It helps break the cycle of abuse

In relationships and marriages where abuse is present, walking away is always a big move.

In most cases, it means the end to a cycle of abuse whether physical, sexual, or even emotional.
