The final salute for the late former President Daniel Arap Moi will today take place at Nyayo stadium with 30,000 Kenyans present.

Here is how things are expected to go down.

1.His body will take two hours between Lee Funeral home and Nyayo stadium so that Kenyans who did not get a chance to say goodbye, do so.

2. Once his body arrives at Nyayo stadium, it will be taken around the stadium once.

3. Unlike past events, President Uhuru Kenyatta will only great the people and sit down as the event is not about him but about the former late president.

4. A prayer session will be held by different church denominations.

5. He will be buried tomorrow at his Kabarak home.

The unique thing about the event is that Kenyans are being given KANU caps, the political party Moi led for many years.

He will be buried beside the grave of his late wife Lena Moi.

The stadium is expected to be filled with 30,000 people. The others will watch the entire event from outside.

Contrary to what some Kenyans think today there will be no body viewing as the process was closed yesterday.

President Moi's body was at parliament building for three days.
