Rapper Majirani is at a crossroads after he found himself in dire financial need.

The singer who recently released a song in honour of Kenyan vice president William Ruto claims his music career is on a slump.

Speaking about the song he said, "The ruto song was inspired by the two letters that i recieved from my fellow youths who wanted to invite him to come over and help them start small businesses i turned the letters into a song am happy it has been recieved well."

To keep himself afloat he has decided to hustle, he looked for any job he could get, none was beneath him.

He settled for a casual job at a quarry as one of the people who break stones for construction.

Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke, Majirani said,

"I really hope i get a job i stop doing this quarry job."

Speaking about his financial situation, he explained,

"It hit soo hard when i begun struggling to get basics needs like food , my landlord locked the house was closed this morning now am staying with a friend."

Asked how much he makes at the quarry job, Majirani said,

"It has been long since i did the stone breaking hustle. i used to do it 7 years ago back in Narok , so i couldn't manage enough on day one but I am picking up i made Ksh 350."

Majirani added,

"i have papers. I did a few courses back in college from business management to a few other but papers sometimes don't decide our future so i will take any good job that comes my way."

Asked what he would tell Ruto if he was given a chance to meet him, Majirani said,

"if i meet him i will ask for job ...thats all i want so i can help others too."
