Gospel artiste Size 8 has revealed that contrary to what many people think she did not want a big and flamboyant wedding.

Speaking during their reality show 'Dine with the Muraya's' the mother of two said she opted for a very simple event.

'When Mo and I decided to get married he came home and met my parents for formalities. We met a pastor and tukaombewa.

The idea came from me and not from Mo. We have been married for 7 years.

The one thing I have realized is that the things I used to see when I was outside marriage I look at them differently now.'

She further added,

'A wedding is good, but most People get into marriage with debts because they took loans to support their very extravagant weddings.

The major reason why people divorce is finance. So it's better to do something simple and affordable.

In a relationship you should not set unrealistic standards. Set standards you can be able to maintain.'

Size 8' sentiments are true, a wedding is a one-day event but marriage is a lifetime commitment.

So people should be very smart about how they plan this day, otherwise, it might end up ruining their marriage.
