Kenya’s most powerful man gave us a glimpse into his romantic life.

The President of Kenya Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta has for the longest time now be talking about politics.

For the first time, the President put politics aside and spoke about how he met the love of his life, who is the beloved first lady Margaret Kenyatta.

And yes…this is a side we had never knew about our President.

Kiss FM website found out that he and Mama Muhoho met in high school through her elder brother who was studying with Uhuru in high school.

We all know he went to St Mary’s School. From there, Uhuru and Margaret became friends and later partners and as they all say, the rest was history.

Uhuru narrated:

“His brother was my friend in high school. Through him, I managed to meet his younger sister and we started off a relationship that has lasted from high school till now,and I’m thankful to God for that.”

He went on to advice:

“Who you meet today as a friend and a partner may be your first lady tomorrow. The girl I met in high school is the first lady…(laughs)”

The two have been together for the longest time now. They got married in 1991 and have been blessed with three kids, Jaba Kenyatta, Jomo Kenyatta and Ngina Kenyatta.
