Nairobi city is no longer safe.

Especially the CBD.

A city woman identified as Susan Warui learnt that the worst way possible.

A gang of petty thieves approached her and grabbed her earrings leaving her bleeding and and injured.

Elsie Muthoni: There's also a group of boys who pitia hapo agip around 5pm, i've seen them more than thrice, ukikaa mbaya wanapita na valuables zako...there's a day they robbed 2 people hapo cause some kind of commotion to distract people by shouting"mwizi"

Fredii Fred: Ile kazi police hufanya ni kuchukua hongo. Police refused work ama they are partners with those gangsters.

Susan Wachairow: Sonko has taken us back to the 90s...... very sad. Sonko was the biggest mistake. Have personally seen people being robbed at the junction of Moisture AVE/Uhuru Highway. This goons know how to even open windows in traffic and rob.

Waithira Ngunu Kimani: This happened to me last year. They snatched my chain along Tom mboya street. They left me down on the road when they saw a traffic police officer coming to rescue me.

Wawira Joy: Another man was robbed today at archives. His wallet, cash, shoes and phone gone.
