Genge star Mejja is at pains to defend himself after he was accused of conning a young man who runs a podcast called MtandaoVersity that brands itself as a school of soft skills.

Mtandaoversity accuses Mejja of conning him by asking for money amounting to Ksh 12000 and an extra Ksh 1500 for internet bundles in order to have an interview with him.

The sad part is that, Mejja still failed to show up for the said interview.

A look at MtandaoVersity’s YouTube page, it has videos of the host enlightening people on nurturing their soft skills by using a number of celebrities such as Fareed Khimani, Andrew Kibe, and Tina Kaggia to demonstrate them.

They carry out activities that help young people develop and grow their soft skills for career growth.

The podcaster hit out at Mejja and described the genge star as "arrogant, a liar, opportunistic, naïve and a disrespectful person".

Mejja has responded to the claim in a nasty rant.

The Landlord hitmaker has issued a warning to the man wanting him to apologize failure to which he threatens to forward the matter to the authorities.

The Kansoul group member has gone ahead to refute the claims of him sourcing for money from the site on the claims that if he does not charge for collabos it seem ridiculous for him to do so for interviews.

Mejja branded the entire whole scenario as clout chasing and interference with people’s careers.

Angered Mejja then issued a warning to his fans not to fall prey to the false claims and advised them to be wary of fake accounts making rounds using his name as he is only available on Instagram and not on Facebook, Snapchat or Tiktok.
