Ruth is heavily pregnant with John's child. They tied the knot in November 2019 and were to celebrate their first wedding anniversary in  November.

The two were madly in love and in one of the messages to his wife, Pastor John gushed about growing old together.

'My wife My Love 50 years from now, I am very sure and certain that we will still be walking side by side, holding hands , making funny jokes and laughing uncontrollably while serving the Lord with all our hearts because I'm so in love with you @ruth_matete ❤' he wrote.
