Kenyan politics is always characterised by old, greedy, corrupt and tribalist people. But as the next general election nears, it seems these aging politicians will have to go back to their respective villages and continue from where they left off.

Well, a group of young, handsome and energetic men have started warming up for next year's election, and this is a clear indication that they are tired of the aging politicians and ready to get rid of them. These hunks have already started campaigning for different seats. From presidential to MCA aspirants, no one wants to be left behind.

Will they manage to beat the political gurus? Well, from the ever jovial Robert Kipkemboi to self-proclaimed billionaire Steve Mbogo, meet the most handsome aspirants vying in the next general election.

  1. Robert Kipemboi

He is well known for his handsome looks. Robert Kipkemboi is one of the many aspirants contesting for the Lang'ata parliamentary seat. Robert from TNA, who is vying for the seat under URP, is said to be the people's choice, and who knows, he might be the next man to represent Lang'ata people for the next five years.

2. Paul Ongili aka Babu Owino

The student leader is not new to politics. He knows how this dirty game is played. Babu, who contested for Westlands' seat in the last general election but lost, has decided to try his luck in next year's election once more and will be vying for Embakasi East parliamentary seat.

3. Michael Kavisi Mutua

The ever-smiling man has decided to take his unique smile and looks to politics. He wants to make women happy and at least develop the love for politics, as most women don't give a damn about politics apart from those in power. Kavisi is contesting for Embakasi West constituency's Umoja 1 MCA seat. He is also known for his love for love for fashion. George Maina is the current MCA for the area.

4. Kane Maina Lukoye

He is the youngest man ever to venture into politics. Lukoye, who has always been on the forefront fighting for women and youths rights, is among the many contesting for the Ziwani-Kariokor MCA seat. His campaign slogan is #NewDirections.

5. Ashraf Bayusuf

He is the new kid on the block. Known for his humility, kindness and his love for charity, Ashraf Bayusuf is contesting for the Nyali constituency seat, alongside celebrated Jich Pevu investigative reporter Mohammed Ali. His foundation has been at the forefront in helping the society deal with the difficulties they experience every day. His pillars include health, entrepreneurial support for the youth and women, and job creation.

6. Steve Mbogo

The self-proclaimed billionaire is also in the race to parliament. He is vying for the Starehe parliamentary seat, which has attracted many aspirants, among them top bigwigs Jaguar, Maina Kamanda and Stephen Kariuki (K1). Mbogo has of late been campaigning so hard and who knows, he might outdo his counterparts come the next general election.

7. Edwin Sifuna

The renowned lawyer is contesting for the Kanduyi parliamentary seat on an ODM ticket. He is popular, especially amongst the youth.

8. Dr Nahashon Langat

The learned scholar, who is currently a lecturer and administrator at Kenyatta University, is vying for the Narok South constituency. He is popular in the region. His gorgeous looks have attracted many, especially women, who are always praising him.
