Almost a month ago, we reported that The Nest had released a feature film that highlight on the lives of homosexuals in Kenya The producers who even thought of remaining anonymous, submitted the film for screening at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Just few weeks after it's premier at the festival, the Kenya Film Classification Board which is chaired by Emmy Kosgey's father, Bishop Kosgey banned the film on the grounds that it "promotes Homosexuality". The producers however said, even though they were not surprised, they were still saddened by the government’s decision to ban “Stories.
Below is the trailer for the film that I doubt will now be screened anywhere in Kenya.
